Everything you need to know about RideAway: Ghana 2027.

About the Trip
RideAway: Ghana 2027 is a week-long cycling and cultural immersion experience taking place February 10–16, 2027. Participants ride through Accra and Aburi — experiencing the heart of Ghana on two wheels while contributing to a meaningful community impact program. It is more than a cycling event; it is an adventure with purpose.
RideAway: Ghana is designed for cyclists of all levels who want to explore Ghana in an active, immersive way. Whether you are an avid road cyclist logging high mileage or someone who rides casually, there is a ride and a package designed for you. Spectator packages are also available for those who want the full cultural experience without the cycling.
The event runs February 10–16, 2027, with full tour participants also visiting Cape Coast and Kumasi through February 21. We recommend arriving by Friday, February 12, 2027 at the latest to participate in the opening City Night Ride.
BEEP — the Bicycle Education Empowerment Program — is a community impact initiative at the heart of RideAway: Ghana. In rural Ghana, the distance between a child's home and school can be a barrier that ends an education before it begins. A bicycle changes that. Every kilometer ridden and every registration contributes to donating bicycles to students who need them most. When you register, you are not just riding — you are investing in a legacy.

Additional recommended vaccinations include Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, Malaria prophylaxis, and routine immunizations. Consult your doctor or a travel health clinic at least 4–6 weeks before departure.
Travel insurance is not included in any package but is strongly recommended. We suggest Allianz Travel Insurance for comprehensive coverage including trip cancellation, medical evacuation, and gear protection. Ensure your policy covers cycling activities abroad.
